2 birds found dead in the yard after putting new seed millet feeders.Any reminders of food for dogs and cats?
Both birds appeared young, vigorous and free from any trauma, as if they were attacked by cats, etc. found on the same day, the day after filling their arteries seeds with a fresh, new Walmart. A bird feeder was just below the ground. I was worried seed could be China, etc. and also could have been contaminated by cat and dog food. Has anyone heard of the death of birds wild bird seed from Wal-Mart or elsewhere?
Clean your feeder in a solution of 4 to 1 of chlorine. The food was probably mold on it. Mixed with the saliva of birds is a toxic substance. Good luck.
